Race regulations:

IFSS Race Rules (www.sledogsport.net)

Scooter classes: Three-wheel rigs are allowed in the 2-dog scooter class only.
For 1-dog and 2-dog scooter classes, a scooter type vehicle or a bicycle without
chain or with the pedals blocked can be used.

Team classes: Three-wheel rigs are only allowed in the 4-dog and 4-dog
junior classes. The Race Marshal has the possibility to withdraw from
the race any rig he considers not
be well and safely constructed and adapted
to the number of dogs in the team.
On all vehicles, the wheels must be at least 30 cm in diameter and the back
wheels must have brakes in working conditions. Brakes are recommended
on the front wheels. There must be a possibility to lock the brakes on the rig
when the driver leaves it (i.e. to untangle dogs).
Wearing helmet is mandatory in all classes except Canicross.
Gloves are recommended.

Dog Identification:
All dogs shall be micro-chipped.

Dog vaccination:
All dogs must be vaccinated according to German laws.

Dog age:
The dogs entering the race must be at least 18 months old for Bikejoring
and 12 months old for the other classes.

Entry fees:
Entry fees will be fifty (50) Euros for the adult classes and thirty (30) Euros
for the junior classes. Entry fee payment must be made by the National
Federations of the competitors via bank transfer directly to organizer’s
special account.

A Canicross relay competition will be organized on the Sunday November 13, providing there are 
at least 3 national relay teams each representing a different nations. Mixed nations relay teams may 
ompete but cannot be awarded World Champion title. The final decision regarding the organization 
of the relay competition will be confirmed during the team leaders’ meeting on Friday November 11.

Registration of the relay teams and payment of the relay entry fees (80 Euros per national team) will 
be done then.

A class will be rated only if there are at least five (5) competitors starting in the first heat of that class.

Titles of World Champion will be awarded in all rated classes (including Nordic breed classes) 
satisfying the criteria set above.

The Race Marshal reserves the right to check that the dogs of the Nordic Breed teams are 
registered (FCI registration) in one of the following breeds: Siberian Husky, Malamute, 
Eskimo dog, Samoyed.

Doping control:
Doping control may be performed on dogs and human athletes during the event in accordance with the 
WADA and IFSS doping control regulations. The list of forbidden substances and methods for humans
